Turning Three DIY-Style

Little L is turning three in a few weeks & she’s desperate for a Disney Tangled Party!

I LOVE my daughter & Tangled but I don’t like generic, branded b-day parties.

So, I set off to make a beautiful, unique Tangled party for Little L.

I just finished the gift boxes…

You can see Disney Tangled right?

The best part? The bow on the box is also a hair clip, ’cause every girl needs some hair goodies to tame her long-locks.

The treat boxes were made using my Epic Six Die Cutting machine from LifeStyle Crafts. I LOVE that they had the perfect slits in the top to accommodate a hair clip! I just slipped the clip through the font & back slits to keep the box closed :)

I have SO many amazing ideas for the party, hence the early start. Stay tuned for more party goodness!

is that clip keeping the boxes closed, too? brilliant! I think hair clips are perfect for a Tangled party! Can’t wait to see the rest Heidi!

Great idea! I have that box die, but never thought to make a hair clip closure. Adorable!

I was wondering if you have a tutorial for the hair bows, please. They are beautiful! I’d like to recreate them for my four-year-old who has a full head of curls! Thanks.

Adorable! I would also love a tutorial for the hair bows you used. With a change of fabric, these could easily look like bow ties for my grandson’s 1st birthday. Or keep as is for my granddaughter’s 3rd birthday several months from now. Thanks!
