Wow! Were you starting to believe that I made it up?!
I was there… it was awesome… the women were amazing…
it was the best Girl’s Weekend ever!!!
{I didn’t bring my camera. I was at a blogging conference for Heaven’s sake, I knew there would be a plethora of SLRs. I forewarned my friends I’d be stealing their pictures!}
{My Posse: Kristen, Suzette, Me, Kirsten}
The beginning:
I walked into the hotel where I found Kirsten from Kojo Designs {far right} and Kristen from Kristen Duke Photography {far-left} sitting at a table near the front entrance. Kirsten was to be my roommate, so I walked over and “introduced” myself.
I say “introduced” b/c Kirsten and I have been emailing each-other for 2 years now! We “met” when we competed against each-other in SYTYC. Over the course of many silly emails, we became great friends! It was SO fun seeing her in person, we’re definitely two-peas-in-a-pod!
Kristen from Kristen Duke Photography is SO fun! I was immediately drawn to her infectious personality! She is an awesome photographer and really fun person to be around.
I met Suzette on the first day, she’s such a doll! Don’t judge her scrunchy-use to harshly, she was going 80s style for one of the events ;) She sells the most whimiscally-romantic headbands for kiddos {here}.
The Middle:
Apparently, when I’m asked to do a silly-pose, Charlies Angels always comes out…
I have 3-4 more pics with me in this pose… kind-of embarrassing… ; )
and if it wasn’t Charlie’s Angels, I was blowing kisses… hahaha…
I also met Jess from Craftiness is Not Optional and Kate from See Kate Sew. These two girls are after my own heart! So sweet and fun to be around! We hung out most of the weekend. Definitely the kind of girls you want over for craft night! any night really!
Ashley from Mommy by Day, Crafter by Night and Rachel from Family Ever After were two of my favorite people! Kirsten, these two, and I stayed up till 3 in the morning talking! 3AM! It was so much fun getting to know two people that I have admired from afar for so long now.
I also got to hang out with my roomies from CHA: Linda and Jamielyn. They are two of the cutest people! Love them!
The End:
and we danced… yes, we danced… I haven’t danced like that in years.
P.S. I can’t be held responsible for the ridiculous moves I pulled out, when you get me started… there’s no stopping that train!
Yay for SNAP!!
{and yay for looking 5 months pregnant in the pic above! never take pic with a flowing shirt, after gorging yourself for 4 days on rich food, with an expandable three-kid belly!}

That was such a fun weekend, I had a blast hanging out with you!
Your post actually made me laugh out loud. Thank you! You are such an adorably cute, wonderful person. It was so nice to see you again (if only briefly). I’ve decided that I missed all the fun at SNAP! next year I am planning more “hang out” time FOR SURE!
xoxo
