Happy Mother’s Day

I L.O.V.E. being a mom. It’s THE best job.

Today I woke up {at 9:30! Good man, Mr. V!} to 3 of the most adorable kidlets in the world, teeming with excitement as they handed me their Mother’s Day offering – a bowl of Raisin Bran & a handmade card. Sorry no play-by-play pics, ’cause in real, unscripted-life you don’t usually wake up a SLR in your bed  ; )

After I read it, Little-Man-Child ate it. LOL.

Initially, the girlies were distraught, pacified only after hearing that I loved it even more b/c “each child had made a contribution to the card”.

At church, Little-L {almost 3 years old} answered a questionnaire read to her by her Nursery Teacher. This made me laugh.

At the end of the day, I curled up with my kiddos and started tickling Little-Man-Child. He always squeals, frantically rolling onto his belly in a protective motion, only to flip back over moments later, kicking his legs and giggling in anticipation of more tickles.

That’s all she wrote. I had a wonderful, simple Mother’s Day. Nothing spectacular, but when you have three little children that you ADORE more than anything in the entire world, nothing else matters.

Mom, thanks for being such an involved mother. I only hope that my children will love me as much as I love you.
