The only change I made was to the bottom half. Instead of using a spool, I used the unfinished wood candlesticks {found them at Michaels}.

These little tree are adorable! I actually saw them in a second hand store today but the lady used ruffles made of Christmas fabric. They were really cute! There are so many variations you can make with this craft. Lots of room for creativity. I love it!
