Shabby Chic Wall Hooks {tutorial}

I made the cutest wall hooks for my little girlies!
The best part? They were less than $15! & they’re huge: 12.5 x 11 inches!
The only problem now? where do I put them?!
That’s the great part about moving into a bigger place you have total decorative freedom (a.k.a. LOTS of bare walls!) None of the rooms in my house have any style direction yet, so these can go anywhere! They could be the cutest coat racks, towels holders, necklace holders… hmmm… thoughts?….{maybe not towel holders… humidity + fabric = nothing good}

Here’s the tutorial so you can make your own!

** I used a frame as my base b/c I already had them and they needed to be used. But, if you don’t want a hole in the back
you can use a canvas, unfinished wood block, whatever…**

The tighter you pull, the better it will look!
So where should I put them?

    I follow! I just wanted to tell you how much I love these! I am going to make some for Christmas Stocking hooks. We don't have a mantle so these would be perfect!

  42. Cleat, Ida, Nelana and Camden says:

    HOOK IDEA: My little girl has one in her room that we hang her dress up feather boas on. It helps keep them from becoming a wrinkled heap.

  43. Anonymous says:

    This is really cute but I don't know how you think you are actually going to hang anything on it. It is a hook hot glued onto fabric. There's no wood behind the hook even. What am I missing?

  44. Heidi says:

    Hi Anonymous,

    Surprisingly hot glue is VERY strong. If you put enough on (I put tons!) you won't have a problem. Also, it's doesn't matter that there is nothing behind the fabric. As long as you pull the fabric VERY tightly, it will hold just fine. Mine hooks are currently holding my little girlies hooded towels.

    Thanks for the comment! :)

    Adorable and I love how economical it is!!

  46. Chelsea says:
