sitting in our hotel room…

here’s the worst thing about trying to buy a short-sale home:

You place a bid in early May… thinking that yes, your bid will certainly be accepted (or rejected) before you move across country on July 31st…

and then you find yourself sitting in a hotel room on August 6th with still no news on your bid (besides that it’s definitely between you and another bidder…)

The great dilemma, you can’t sign a lease anywhere else because you could find out the next day that you got your home, or you could be strung along for another 6 months…
so I find myself sitting here… in limbo… in a hotel room with my three kiddos and zero (yes! zero.) crafting supplies and MORE importantly zero toys
*Don’t worry, I placed a small box of “crafting necessities” in my car (which is being shipped across country and should be here any day)*

don’t think that I have given up on my crafty-ways… times and seasons… I guess this is my time for quiet reflection… LOL! try to find quiet reflection with three kids in a hotel room!

Oh that's horrible! I hope that everything works out soon! It would drive me crazy — if things don't go exactly as planned for big events I tend to freak out.

    I'll be praying for you!

Hey…me too! We have been in a hotel for almost 2 1/2 weeks. Ugh. It is not fun. I miss my sewing machine. I haven't seen my anything crafty in forever. We hopefully are getting into our short sale this next week. BUT we have heard that before.

Best of luck to you guys!

Blah!! I'm sorry, Heidi!! I hope you get it soon. Good luck! Maybe to fill the time you can post more pictures of your cute kids… in a hotel room…

My sister is in the same boat. She's going mad in the hotel too. Good luck on the bid though. And don't go too crazy.

You and me both sister! We're just loving our Brazilian hotel/apartment–NOT! Although we're thousands of miles apart, I know exactly how you feel. Well, almost exactly. I only have one little guy to entertain compared to your three. You can do it the question is, can I?

my grandparents just went through that too.. short sales are evil… they don't ever seem to go through easily.

Thanks everyone! The short-sale is still dragging us along for the ride… lameo! At least we are in a short-term rental now. Phew! space, much needed space!
