Tissue Paper Blossom Tutorial

As I was flipping through Crafts for Kids (a treasure chest of easy craft ideas!), I came across some amazing tissue paper blossoms and I KNEW that I had to make them.

Don’t these rock? and they’re SO EASY to make. Seriously, I did this under 10 minutes.

Done! Seriously so easy!!!

I am SOOOO doing this. I may only have bright green tissue paper but maybe it would give it a funky, artsy look. :)

I'm having memories of you teaching me to make frosting flowers and having similar words like "SO EASY!" said over and over…and yet…well…let's just say that fondant is my friend. =)

Those are seriously beautiful, love it!

so cute! doing this tomorrow! Can I ask, where did you get that super cute bucket!? I am a bucket nerd!

  13. Heidi says:

    Molly,

Isn't it adorable?! I wish I knew. I think it came from a local florist, my friends got me a bouquet of flowers when my daughter was hospitalized 2 years ago. I will ask my friend where she picked it up. If she remembers I will post it here.

    Have a great night!

I love this! It is the next thing on my "to-try" list. I do cardmaking, so instead of gluing the buds to actual branches, I plan to sketch the branches with a black Sharpie pen on pale blue cardstock (sky-colored) and glue the buds to that, for a beautiful greeting card front. Can't wait to get started.

I'm doing it with yellow for paper forsythia. Thanks for sharing this idea!

No way! How can something so gorgeous be so simple?! Thanks for sharing this great idea. I think it's something my kids can help me with (altho' they're probably not quite up to the glue gun part yet!), and with school holidays approaching it will be a perfect craft for us to do together. Thank you!
