Sew awesome! I bet this idea would work great to top the 4 oz Ball/Kerr jars too, for say, cupcakes in a jar, or homemade orange marmalade, handmade body scrubs… the possibilities are endless! Thanks for the inspiration!

How adorable! Question: Where did you find the white round boxes?
I found my boxes at AC MOORE, the east coast equivalent of Michaels or Hobby Lobby. They were next to the wood section. Hope this helps! :)

awesome!!! thank you very much for this tutorial.
Awesome idea, maybe you can reuse muffin containers. I was trying to save a KD DID bug last night reaching for something to put it in and I grabbed a muffin clear container and thought wow this would work great for your idea. Good Carma for saving the bug.
Mary Ellen,
Of course! Just use one photo and link back to my post. Thanks!

Amazing!! I think I’ll try the twisted ribbon one, my favorite way a cupcake is frosted is a swirl, I have a question, what did you use for the bottom? Craft Paper? Thx you, these are amazing, and I’m gonna pick up the supplies next time I go shopping!
Yes, I used scrapbook paper. I folded the paper accordion style. You can also use actual cupcake liners.
Hope this helps! Glad you like them! :)

im a new fan and a cupcake crazy lover, so happy to discover you through cupcakes takes the cake! thanks for sharing this beautiful cupcake box.
These are adorable!!
I have an acquaintance I know via the local craft show circuit that has been making these for years and they very similar to yours. Instead of a box, hers is a gift card holder. Very cute. I think I like these better.
Loved these so much, I made one today! I will be trying the felt version when I have some more time. Thanks for the great idea and clear tutorial. http://everydaypaper.wordpress.com/2012/04/01/day-92-one-of-my-favorites/
